I bought a canvas and painted it.
I hear the city I live in, Richmond, is the 3rd most tattooed city in the country. I wonder, do tattoo shops submit censuses of their clients? Anyway, I see tattoos regularly. A lot of my friends have them. A lot of my friends don’t.
I recently suggested to my conservative father that he should get one. He’s a military physician though and says he is afraid of contracting Hep A. Shortly after, I revealed my nose piercing is from the backwoods of China. Yep, that China. Far as I know, I do not have any diseases as a result. I am probably a dissapointment as a daughter though.
I like seeing other peoples’ tattoo choices but could probably never commit to one. Maybe when I’m 60 and my life is all worked out/I don’t care anymore. Until then, I’ll have to stick with the slap-on, wash-off kind. Plus, those come with glitter.
There are a lot of tattoos that I think are dumb. But hey, if you want that Chinese character on your neck, you go for it.
There are a few that are cool though. Like this one:

Since I have roughly four decades before I’m 60, I have a plenty of time to think about what kind of tattoo I’ll want. I know I DON’T want a: breast tattoo, ankle tattoo, face tattoo, or neck tatoo. So that narrows it down a BIT. Like I said, plenty of time to think about it.
